Dick Obendorf – Founder
Dick founded BXB Business Brokers to help owner-operated businesses approach the sale process with greater clarity, preparation, and confidence. Over the course of his career, he has owned and operated businesses in industries ranging from specialty chemicals, automotive services, and mining to commercial interior construction, signage, trucking, SaaS, and other internet-based ventures.

His background includes both small owner-operated businesses and larger multi-state operations. Most notably, he co-founded a national trucking company that grew from 1 truck to 500 trucks, operated in 38 states, and reached $30 million in revenue. That experience gives him firsthand insight into the operational, financial, and strategic challenges owners face—and helps him guide sellers with the perspective of someone who has been in their shoes
Allen Stockbridge – CCIM
Allen brings decades of commercial real estate and transaction experience to BXB Business Brokers. He began his career with Coldwell Banker Commercial in 1984 after graduating from the University of Maryland School of Law in Baltimore, and has spent his career working through the complexities of real-world transactions with professionalism and discipline.
His experience provides clients with the benefit of seasoned judgment, careful deal execution, and a broader perspective on transactions that require both structure and experience.
